Drum Trolleys | Drum Handling Equipment

As times move forward OH & S and safety regulations become stricter. Each workplace has a way of doing their own tasks in a different way, but one task that should always be adhered to is the safety of an employee’s back. STM Australia offers a variety of Drum Handling Equipment to ensure that your employees are able to carry out their day to day tasks in a safe manner. You are only born with one back and the last thing anyone needs is a problem with their back. From someone who has experienced this the hard way, I can tell you know the pain is no pleasant. Although thankfully enough this did not occur at my place of employment, at the time as proper precautions had been implemented.

With all of this in mind STM Australia has developed an extensive line of products to help alleviate the problems associated with the handling of drums. Our drums are appropriate for all situations and are built from quality materials to last through the harshest conditions of any workshop, industrial sector or farm environment.

One of our latest and most reasonable priced products that have ignited sales dramatically is the Drum Truck Trolley (Model: DITI19230000). This Drum Trolley is designed to easily move, tip or drain any 205 litre drum. The Drum Truck Trolley has a heavy loading capacity of 150kgs which is supported by two 10” wheels and two smaller 2” wheels. The overall size of the Drum Truck Trolley is 1520x440x610mm and weights 25kg.

Also available through STM Australia is the 4T4 Eze Lift Drum Trolley (Model: DDH106). This trolley is first placed around the drum and then fixed to the top of it, and then with a push of the handle the drum locks into place. Featuring a strong construction and durable finish this trolley is approved by the Department of Labour and Industry. Also the stress-free action of the Eze Lift Drum Trolley and quality engineering helps to prevent back injury.

STM Australia supply a Tilting Drum Trolley (Model: DDH104) which is made to suit 205 litre drums. Its design enables the drum to be loaded and transported easily by one person. When the drum is placed into the horizontal position the handles on this model retract so that they are out of the way. Plastic grips are also positioned on the handles to prevent slipping, when the drum is being loaded or moved.

STM Australia also supplies two different models of Drum Dolly’s, which are capable of transporting 205 litre and 20 litre drums. The 205 Litre Drum Dolly (Model: DITISC0506) and the 20 Litre Drum Dolly (Model: DITISC0509) are very handy pieces of equipment. These two products are especially great when it comes to manoeuvring both large and small drums around the workshop. Both models are fitted with quality castors and all welds are ground smooth to give the operated a snag free performance.

The last three products featured in this article are trolleys that are used to enable, full drums of oil or grease to be transferred around to where the drums contents are needed. For example the 205 litre Drum Trolley (Model: DITI1708003), is capable of having a 180kg air operated grease unit and drum set up on it, with the grease being pumped through a hose reel (which can be secured to this model). This complete kit can be wheeled around the workshop to wherever it is needed. We also have the 205 Litre Drum Trolley (DITI1708002) which is low-priced and does not have an area for a fixed hose reel.  The last of these Drum Trolley’s is the 20/60 Litre Drum Trolley (Model: DITI1708001), which is suitable for grease and oil drums and consist of two high quality wheels and castors. All three of these Drum Trolleys are zinc plated, and come with heavy duty wheels as well as clips that securely hold the drums into place on the trolley.
